Man : What are you doing over the holidays?
Woman : Nothing much, unfortunately.
Man : How come? I thought you were going to see your folks.
Woman : ThatÕs what I thought too but my flight was cancelled because of the blizzard. I shouldÕve taken the train after all.
Man : I donÕt think that wouldÕve been such a good idea.
Woman : Why not? It wouldÕve been slow but at least I wouldÕve reached them.
Man : HavenÕt you heard? An avalanche swept down the tracks; scores of people died. IÕd hate to think you were one of them.
Woman : Whoa! Guess I was lucky booking a flight after all.
Man : Me too. This way neither of us needs to spend the holidays alone.
Woman : YouÕre sweet.
