Woman : My landlord is increasing the rent again; I just canÕt afford to stay in my apartment anymore.
Man : Why donÕt you look for a roommate? This way you could share the expenses and you can stay in your apartment.
Woman : I donÕt really want to share my place with anybody. The whole idea of getting a place of my own is that I can do what I want without having to worry about stepping on somebodyÕs toes. I might as well move into the dorm; it certainly would be cheaper that way.
Man : I donÕt know if thatÕs possible. IÕve been told that the demand for dorm rooms is so high that preference is given to first-year students from out of town.
Woman: IÕll give it a shot anyway. TheyÕre not going to leave a senior student out on the street.
