เมื่อสองสามสัปดาห์ก่อนมีข่าวว่าสื่อไทยไปตีพิมพ์ข้อความล้อเลียน ดูถูกคนลาว เป็นเรื่องเป็นราวกันขึ้น จากนั้นไม่นานก็มีข่าวเกี่ยวกับการไม่ระวังคำพูดขึ้นอีก แต่ไม่เกี่ยวกับไทย ไปอินเตอร์โน่น และก็เป็นกรณีอิน เตอร์จริงๆ เสียด้วย เพราะต้นเหตุมาจากประธานาธิบดีฝรั่งเศสแน่ะ ไปพูดว่า อาหารของอังกฤษ และ ฟินแลนด์ นั้น ไม่ได้เรื่อง ก็เลยได้เรื่อง ถูกสมาชิกสภานิติบัญญัติชาวฟินแลนด์ Alexander Stubb ซึ่งมีคุณนายเป็นคนอังกฤษท้าให้ไปลองชิมเสียเลย แล้วก็ยังหัวไวอีกโดยบอกว่า ในฐานะที่เป็นประธานาธิบดีของประเทศที่ผลิตไวน์ชั้นดี ท่านก็รับหน้าที่หาไวน์มาด้วยแล้วกัน
