Re: “How UK expats can vote on most important decision since WWII”, Have Your Say, April 5.

It was heartening to read the letter from Liberal Democrats Overseas on the need for British citizens living in Thailand to register to vote in the UK. Labour International has been saying the same thing for some time and runs registration sessions every month in the Chidlom area.

At these sessions we have a chance to discuss policy, and we find ourselves in agreement with the Lib Dems over polling stations at embassies and the need for an MP to represent Britons abroad.

Anyone (including Lib Dems) who would like to join us any time for a convivial evening of debate is welcome to get in touch.
