Jenny Moxham claims that liver and kidneys are too disgusting to eat because they filter toxins from the blood. Yes, they filter the toxins, but they don’t store them. Liver and kidneys are in fact very nutritious, liver in particular being full of vitamins and proteins enormously beneficial to our health. If you buy any kind of meat, offal and sausages from reputable butchers, you should have no concerns. They know their suppliers and it is their business to ensure their products are safe to eat.
