In demonising ‘outsiders’, some Germans have forgotten their history

Recent events in Chemnitz are more of a reminder of last century German history than the future. The lessons of the past have clearly been forgotten by some.

Chemnitz in fact has only a small number of Muslim migrants and a small number of migrants overall. Other migrants there come from Russia and China.

The crime rate in Germany is low, and of course statistics for attacks against immigrants need to be noticed in those figures.
