Re: “Will eating meat really turn me into an animal in bed?” Have Your Say, June 16.
Samsak Pola takes some digs at PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) because he resented them saying that vegetarians are better lovers than meat-eaters.
Have the readers noticed that people who write letters complaining about vegetarians are incapable of disputing our arguments so they instead attack us personally?
For example, why didn’t he present evidence to show that PETA is wrong (and they aren’t) when PETA notes that health problems such as diabetes and obesity, that are major causes of impotence, are much more common among meat-eaters than vegetarians, especially vegans?
Because they can’t dispute our arguments, these people resort to slander and threats. That’s how people argue when they know the facts and the evidence are not on their side.
