Are your opinions based on evidence or bigotry?

For all the pro-Trump letters I’ve read in your newspaper, I have yet to read one clear-cut reason why President Donald Trump is doing a good job.

The only “evidence” presented is that the economic improvements that started under Obama have continued for a few months under Trump.

Over the years I have changed my mind on numerous issues. For example, I use to be extremely pro-Israel and now I’m pro-Palestinian. I also use to go fishing and attend cockfights whereas now I’m a vegan and an animal rights activist.

I’m not even saying everyone has to agree with me. But whenever someone can give me good reasons to believe I’m wrong, I’m willing to listen and possibly change my position. But people like JC Wilcox, Nigel Pike and Alf Haupt are fanatics, and no amount of facts or evidence that shows overwhelmingly that Trump is completely off the wall will persuade them. And that’s because their positions are not based on evidence but on bigotry, hatred and ignorance.
