First it is reported that Preeyanuch Nonwangchai, the prime suspect in this Khon Kaen murder case, killed and dismembered Warisara Klinjui after a local police officer informed her that Warisara was a police informant who had caused Preeyanuch’s husband to be arrested.
Then, after she was arrested, Preeyanuch appeared to be treated by police in Bangkok as if she were a celebrity. She was photographed in relaxed and private settings, and one picture showed her sitting beside a smiling plainclothes officer.
On top of that, it was reported that nearly 100 police officers were responsible for the arrests – despite the fact that the suspects were apprehended in Myanmar, by that nation’s police force.
Question: when will we finally see a better Thai police force than this?
