With the cold weather slowly taking hold, The Shilla Hotels & Resorts is introducing its “Seasonal Food Sensations” campaign using the freshest of autumn’s ingredients.
Boasting prime location, The Shilla Seoul hotel boasts the lush landscaping that provides the perfect setting for long afternoon teas, hearty dishes and gourmet delights. This autumn, it will welcome Chef Christian Le Squer from the threeMichelinstarred Le Cinq in Paris.
Epicureans can indulge in the Parisian Gastronomic Experience menu, which blends classic French cooking techniques with modern flavours, enhanced by a decadent wine pairing. Le Squer will present a sixcourse lunch featuring a Tomato Tartare with Sorrel Frosted with Traditional Condiments, and an inspired Korean Beef Fillet Draped with Truffled Mozzarella.
At its French restaurant Continental, guests can sample the ninecourse dinner menu featuring an exquisite Carpaccio of Humpback Shrimp with White Truffle, and Crunchy Grapefruit Confit and Raw that’s available from today (October 30) until Wednesday.
As winter sets in, relax with a tantalising afternoon tea by Roger Vivier at The Library. The menu includes creations inspired by Roger Vivier’s new collection, such as petit fours, delicate pastries, scones and The Shilla’s signature savoury bites.
The Shilla Jeju celebrates autumn with “Abalone Special Dinner Buffet that is available until November 30. The selection of seafood includes fresh locally sourced abalone presented in a variety of dishes. Families can also sample the new Poolside Family Special menus while lounging in a private cabana, or after taking a splash in the familyfriendly outdoor pool.
Creative nibbles such as Sweet and Sour Black Pork with Blueberry Sauce, Lobster Spaghetti with Rose Sauce, and Amsterdamstyle French Fries are featured in the set menu options.
At night, guests can enjoy the resort’s daily Terrace Wine Garden Party that provides a selection of premium wines from renowned vineyards and boutique winemakers.
