Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit’s Thai restaurant basil is following the success of its “Four Regions” menus by introducing a new and exciting selection of authentic dishes from Thailand’s north and the central plains.
Chef Kesinee’s “Lanna Voyage” invites diners to explore the cuisine of northern Thailand with such dishes as gaeng kanoon moo, young jackfruit and pork curry, and tom hua peuak gai, spicy free-range chicken and taro soup. Lovers of authentic Thai flavours can also explore the central plains in “A Journey through Thailand’s Heartland” with highlights that include pla hoi shell, seared scallops with spicy green mango salad, lemongrass and chilli jam, and pla samros, crispy seabass with fried shallots and dried chilli with tamarind sauce. Basil also offers a daily changing lunchtime curry buffet with a choice of appetisers, noodle favourites, classic curries, and desserts.
The newly refurbished basil highlights the incredible diversity, high quality ingredients, and authentic flavours of Thai cuisine from four distinct regions.
The “Four Regions” set menus at basil start from just Bt1,500-plus. Basil’s a la carte menu is also available.
