Refresh your passion for food from around the world with an epicurean a la carte buffet prepared a la minute at Latest Recipe of Le Meridien Bangkok until October 30.

If that sounds like a contradiction, it actually isn’t. What it means is that buffet concept features daily rotations selected from Latest Recipe’s new and healthyconscious new a la carte menu. All are served on the buffet line at no extra charge as part of the lunch, dinner and brunch buffet. Some are prepared at live stations, others deep inside the kitchen, still others are ready-to-go in special sections of the buffet line, and yet others are prepared tableside before your very eyes.

The categories range from healthy salads, signature salmon, seafood risotto, Italian specialities, sandwiches and burgers, Western, Thai and Asian main courses and Thai and Western desserts.

On different days selected fresh and artisanal ingredients from exclusive sources combine to create dishes of exceptional flavour and nutritional lift. The list begins with protein-rich quinoa, energising almonds, and detoxing mushrooms, moving onto white anchovy, rosemary-smoked bacon and home cured salmon.

The Seafood Risotto offers San Francisco style scallops wrapped in bacon, contrasted with eucalyptus and Granny Smith apple. Forking Fettucine becomes an extraordinary experience blended with coffee, cocoa, chicken and portabella. Even a classic Fish ‘n Chips goes gourmet with its beer-infused batter zing.

Other items include Roasted Prosciutto Butterfish and Grass-Fed Angus Beef Filet, Garam Masala Curry and Hainanese Chicken Rice, Deepfried Andaman White Snapper and Roasted Duck Red Curry.

And do save space for smooth Pumpkin Egg Custard, creamy coconut, lemongrass and Thai tea Ice Creams, Flourless Almond Chocolate Cake and Neapolitan Coffee Pudding.

The international lunch (Monday to Saturday) from noon to 2.30pm costs Bt1,100-plus per person and dinner buffet (Sunday to Thursday) served from 6 to 9.30pm is priced at Bt1,300-plus.

The weekend seafood dinner buffet is available on Friday and Saturday from 6 to 9.30 for Bt1,600-plus. And the healthy Sunday brunch is held every Sunday from noon to 2.30pm for Bt1,800-plus per person (every table will receive one Boston lobster).
