Don’t miss the original royal court-style “Khao Chae”, a summer meal of steamed rice in cool jasmine water eaten with fried shrimp paste, sweet radish, green pepper stuffed with pork and chilli and dried fish.

Krabokkaew restaurant from Klong Lad Mayom market offers grilled fish marinated in herbs in bamboo while Jocho’s Pork Noodle has bowls filled with fresh prawn, squid, mussel, and boiled egg.
