Peerapol dedicates victory to Princess Sirindhorn

Local cyclist Peerapol Chawchiangkwang won the blue jersey after the second stage of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Cup Tour of Thailand on Tuesday.

Day two’s route started from Phrae and ended in Nan which covers a distance of 182.50km.

Peerapol won the Best Asean category after timing 7:59.02 hours. He dedicated the win for Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn who turned 64th on April 2.

In the stage 2 individual classification, the top three positions were dominated by Park Sanghoon of South Korea, Wang Juanyong of China and Giovanni Lonardi of Italy respectively.

The third stage race (199.70km) is due in Nan province on Wednesday.
