Prawat tops an all-Thai podium

Seven-time Paralympic Games gold medallist Prawat Wahoram spearheaded Thailand’s surge to a 1-2-3 finish in the 1500m men’s wheelchair T54 category at the Asian ParaGames in Jakarta on Thursday.



Prawat, the 2016 Olympic champion, timed 3:14.54 minutes to grab gold with teammates Khongkrak Putharet and Tana Rawat coming second and third in 3:14.65 and 3:14.88 minutes respectively.

Thailand have won a total of 17 golds at the ParaGames, seven of which came from para athletics and six from table tennis.
