Chanathip to enter mokhood

National striker Chanathip Songkrasin will enter monkhood for nine days during holiday breaks from Consadole Sapporo in Japan League.



 

The 24-year-old player who is on loan from Muangthong United already had his head shaved during a preparation ceremony  at his hometown in Nakhon Pathom province yesterday. The ordination rite is due this morning at Bangchang Nua temple.

Chantahip will practice monkhood for nine days before resuming practice for the new season of the J League 1 in January.
