Qatar's beIN denies World Cup corruption claims

Doha - Qatar-based broadcaster beIN group said Thursday that it refuted all allegations of corruption made public earlier in the day by Swiss investigators examining the sale of World Cup media rights.

"beIN Media Group refutes all accusations made by the OAG (Switzerland's attorney general's office)," read a statement from the Doha group, headed up by PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

The statement also confirmed that beIN's Paris offices were searched earlier today by officers from the OAG.
