Thailand’s luxury Akaryn Hotel chain is all set to expand its portfolio with the opening of the akyra Sukhumvit Bangkok in December.

Situated on Sukhumvit Soi 20, this upscale boutique hotel will offer 50 smartly decorated guestrooms. Overlooking colourful cityscapes, all rooms are adorned with floor-to-ceiling glass doors that slide open onto generous balconies and fitted out with natural wood for a simple but modern-chic look.

Furnishings and artworks give stylish interior touches that create a distinctive identity whilst still retaining the charm of an intimate urban property. Following the footprint of three other sister properties under akyra flagship, this new property will also emphasis akyra lifestyle with “All Time Experience” concept through exciting facilities and services inside the hotel complemented by attractions around the hotel.

Delicious craft cocktails and light bites will be served at the hotel’s sophisticated rooftop space, a stylish pool bar with sun loungers and cabanas positioned around reflective water and dramatic vistas of Bangkok’s modern architectural achievements.

This spacious and edgy design will cater for up to 100 people for both in-house guests and outside visitors with live music and entertainment, providing a sophisticated urban space. The rooftop will also feature a multi-purpose function room to host memorable gatherings, private dinners and VIP receptions. This lifestyle area will offer an enticing spot for sundowners after work, or before heading out into the city at night.

On the ground floor, guests will be able to enjoy a casual dining experience with the signature akyra gourmet breakfast and a choice of comfort food favourites including authentic Thai dishes, healthy salads, delicious pastas and delectable desserts – all served in mellow, stylish surroundings.

“Everything Bangkok has to offer is packed into this renowned part of Sukhumvit. Our two akyra properties offer distinct urban experiences, but each one is also defined by the strong sense of style and independence that sets the akyra brand apart from other hotels. The aim is to make a stay with akyra far more than a room to sleep in at night, yet being one of the highlights of the overall Bangkok experience,” says Anchalika Kijkanakorn, founder and managing director of Akaryn Hotel Group.
