Starting on November 10 at 9pm is the year’s biggest and most exciting online sale – Lazada’s Online Festival 2017 – which returns to Thailand with more than 3 million great deals from top brands and renowned local retailers and merchants.
The month-long event builds on the strength of the previous four years of successful annual campaigns held across Southeast Asia.
Themed “Shop the Universe”, Online Festival 2017 aims to smash last year’s record of 3 million visits in the first 12 hours, with a staggering three items sold every second, by bringing customers on a journey to the next big thing by taking the concept of a global shopping event to a new frontier, with more than 20,000 local and 25,000 international merchants participating.
This year for the first time ever in Thailand, countdown to Lazada’s Online Festival will begin with an exclusive live event, “11.11 Online Festival” which will be televised live on Channel 3 and Lazada TV at www.lazada.co.th/tv, starting at 11pm on November 10 until 12.30am on November 11.
The star-studded 90 minutes extravaganza will offer a new form of entertainment with live interactive games and performances from top celebrities, artists, and comedians. It will feature top celebrities in innovative games, shows and culminate with an exclusive concert and fashion show featuring some of Thailand’s top supermodels.
Produced by Kantana Group, this unprecedented event will be linked to interactive deals and flash sales throughout the evening, and be followed the next day by one livestream every hour with more influencers on Lazada.

Shoppers will be treated to fantastic deals in a wide range of categories. There will also be a weekly curated selection of items for the whole family, from beauty products, technology, fashion, and, of course, the year’s best “daily deals”.
“To ensure smooth delivery of orders throughout Online Festival 2017, Lazada is working hard with our key logistic partners including DHL, Thai Post, and Kerry Express, and cross-border sellers from the international market place platform to ship items in a timely manner. We have a 26,000 sqm dedicated fulfilment centre, 35 delivery hubs located nationwide, and a fleet more than 800 vehicles, meaning that whatever is ordered during the festival will be delivered quickly and promptly,” he adds.
