With the growing use of wireless headphones for everyday commutes and increased smartphone penetration in Thailand, where 90 per cent of internet users in the country use their smartphones to surf the internet, engage on social media and consume digital video content, leading German audio specialist Sennheiser is introducing three new wireless Bluetooth neckband headphones for mobile users.

The newest products introduced at the latest Sennheiser Sound Forum edition include the CX 7.00BT phones (Bt6,490), Momentum In-Ear Wireless (Bt8,990) and Momentum Free (Bt8,990). All three models feature Bluetooth and NFC integration, a three-button remote and an integrated high quality in-line microphone for making calls and controlling music. Multi-connection with up to two devices at once and 3-way calling support are also provided on all models. An intuitive system of voice prompts provides notifications on the pairing status and battery life on the headphones.

“Sennheiser Sound Forum is an initiative to continue our audio leadership efforts and commitment to Thailand. Today’s edition is a reflection and culmination of extensive product development and market research, staying true to our vision of pioneering the future of audio. We believe our latest headphones and microphones will blaze the trails for the audio industry in Thailand,” says Martin Low, managing director of Sennheiser Asia.

New high-end audiophile models in the form of the HDV 820 (Bt99,990) fully balanced headphone amplifier and IE 80 S (Bt15,390) high performing compact audiophile earphones are also available. The HDV 820 builds on the accomplishments of Sennheiser’s first-ever digital headphone amplifier, the acclaimed HDVD 800, with its enhanced, higher resolution and ultra-low distortion components open up a whole new listening experience for the most demanding audiophiles. The IE 80 S takes high fidelity audio to the next level with enhanced acoustic performance and unique customisation features such as memory foam ear tips from Comply as well as the option to use different cables.

Apart from consumer audio products, Sennheiser is also introducing mobile audio for video microphones in the form of the MKE 2 elements (Bt8,949), a high quality waterproof action microphone for GoPro HERO4 cameras; two mobile recording microphones made in partnership with Apogee’s analog-to-digital conversion technology – the Handmic Digital (Bt11,569), a rugged, dynamic handheld microphone for interviews and music recordings on iOS devices, Mac and PC, and ClipMic digital (Bt8,939), a clip-on microphone for mobile recording with iOS devices; as well as 3D audio recording devices such as the Ambeo VR Mic (Bt73,699), a 3D audio recording microphone developed in cooperation with virtual reality content producers.

Sennheiser’s newly-launched consumer audio products are now available in Thailand at the following authorised Sennheiser retailers: Munkong Gadget, Power Buy, Power Mall, BeTrend, LOFT, Jaben Thailand, Proplugin, Petch Siam Sound Group, iStudio by Copperwired, .Life, Indygadget, SoundProofBros, Neo Entertainment Chiang Mai, and Ear Tips Chiang Mai, as well as the Sennheiser Official Stores on Lazada, Shopee and 11street.
