Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha on Tuesday urged the public to visit the annual Red Cross fair next Friday and donate for the charity activities of the Thai Red Cross Society.
Prayut said the government would make it convenient for people to visit the fair at Lumpini Park from November 23 to December. The fair will be held from 10.30am to 10pm.
“I would like people to provide moral support to the staff of Red Cross by visiting the fair and donating to the activities of the Red Cross,” Prayut said.
He was speaking after Public Relations Department director-general Lt-General Sansern Kaewkamnerd led Chanprapha Witchitcholchai, the deputy director of the fund-raising division of the Thai Red Cross Society, and children of Red Cross staff to meet the prime minister at Government House to promote the annual fair.
