Rescuers found all 12 boys and their football coach alive inside the flooded Tham Luang Cave Monday night.
The 13 victims from a local football club, Mu Pa Academy Mae Sai, have been stranded inside the cave in Chiang Rai province because of flash floods since June 23.
Chiang Rai Governor Narongsak Osottanakorn confirmed at about 10pm on Monday that the victims had been found.
He also made clear that rescue operations would continue non-stop until the victims were safely transferred out of the cave and to hospitals.
As of press time, doctors with high diving skills are on their way to the spot where the victims had stayed. Checkups are needed to determine whether the football’s team members can be moved out of the dark cave immediately. If not, they will receive first aids and food inside the cave first.
Victim transportation plans have already drawn up.
Good news declared by Narongsak received loud cheers .
