Striker says foxes team backing ‘mission duty-free ’
English football international Jamie Vardy has sent heartfelt congratulations to Artiwara “Toon” Kongmalai for his now world-famous charity run across Thailand.
Vardy yesterday posted a prerecorded video online on behalf of everyone at 2016 Premier League champions Leicester City, praising the musician in the highest terms.
“Your actions create inspiration, motivation and hope, said Vardy. “The most important thing is that you are giving happiness to the people of Thailand.”
“We [at Leicester City] wish him every success in his mission.”
Leicester are owned by dutyfree giant King Power, who are said to have donated many millions of baht towards “Toon’s” run for charity.
