Caretaker Deputy Interior Minister Pracha Prasobdee yesterday filed a complaint with police against anti-government leader Suthep Thaugsuban for having ordered protesters to hound Cabinet ministers and pressure them to resign.

Pracha said he feared that the protesters, led by Suthep’s People’s Democratic Reform Committee, would use violence against him, so he decided to file the complaint at Phra Pradaeng Police Station to protect himself.
He said he would not allow himself to be captured and would use extreme measures to defend himself.
This past weekend, Suthep said the protesters would only have this week to find the remaining ministers of ex-prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra, who was recently removed from office for abuse of power over the illegal transfer of National Security Council Thawil Pliensri.
Win or lose, Suthep said he would end the six-month protest on Monday.
If ministers are located, he told his supporters to demand they resign to pave the way for what is being called a “people’s government”.
