The Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) yesterday unveiled a pilot project under the Thailand Smart Education scheme, to find a way to boost the efficiency of computer tablets used in the education sector.
The pilot project will be conducted at Chulalongkorn University's demonstration school (primary level and replicated at schools nationwide.ICT Minister Anudith Nakornthap said TOT was in charge of developing the computer programme for tablets.
They are designed to help teachers develop new subjects and also support Elearning. The programmes will work on the Cloud computing environment. "This will support all students to make more use of tablets, in line with the new trend. ICT can help improve Thailand's education efficiency," he said.
