Bangkok’s eastern suburbs will be vibrating to the sound of EDM later this month as Centerpoint Studio on Sukhumvit 105 (Soi Lasalle) plays host to two electronic music festivals on September 22 – 23.

“Life in Colour Thailand” and “White Castle Music Festival 2017” are organised by event newbies Create Intelligence, Pure Pleasure Entertainment and Godzillionaire Entertainment

The decision to combine the two events into one accessible venue was taken, the organisers say, as a precaution against unpredictable monsoon downpours as well as to provide event goers with transport convenience.

“We made the decision with the goal of giving event goers the best experience for the most affordable prices. We’re a new player in the market and we are willing to put the needs of the customers first. By offering one combined price and venue location, festival lovers will get to enjoy two events with completely different vibes,” says Create Intelligence managing director Yannakorn Apirajkamol.

“Life In Colour” began in 2007 in Florida and is a production and promotions company that tours internationally in addition to holding its annual flagship festival LIC Miami. The tour today visits 50 cities in more than 30 countries selling upwards of 250,000 tickets annually.

For its 10th year of throwing the “World’s Largest Paint Party”, the company is embarking on a ground-breaking move as it makes its debut in one of Southeast Asia’s most important cities with 50,000 gallons of paint in tow.

The paint is water based, latex-free, odourless, and will wash off. It may not fully come out of certain type of fabric/clothes so do be warned. Artist in the line-up include; Bonnie X Clyde, Ape Drum, Wasted Penguinz, Technoboy, Party Thieves, Bassjackers and Andrew Rayel.

White Castle Music Festival 2017, meanwhile, is a progression from the team behind Axtone Stage Exclusive Live In Bangkok 2016. It’s billed as the biggest progressive music festival in Thailand and promises to be the most groundbreaking event with a top-notch specialised line up that includes Kryder, Tom Staar, Marnik, Holl & Rush, and Jaggs.

Tickets to Life in Color Thailand, originally priced at Bt2,200, and White Castle Music Festival 2017, originally priced at Bt1,500, will now be available at Bt3,000 for both at
