Renowned designer Stuart Vevers revisits some favourite sources of inspiration such as Terrence Malick films and the serenity of the Great Plains for the Coach 1941 Autumn 2017 collection.

He does a style mash-up for ready to wear while for the handbags, he looks to the Bonnie Cashin era, using the frame bag as a reference. A flat, cross-body style and a doctor’s bag are also introduced. Jewellery comes in the form of a mini coin-purse necklace and rings, and earrings with a turn-lock and duck motif.

Simply purr-fect

The playful “Chatmise” collection by MaxMara Weekend is a tribute to the luxury cat-fancier’s collection. Made up of seven separate pieces in white, blue chambray, and Bordeaux colours, it includes a classic-cut man’s shirt adorned with tiny lolling cats curled around the collar and a top with bicolour empire waist, silhouettes of kitties and a delicate ruffle.

Pampering for the hands

Perfect for hands that are constantly busy and challenged by frequent washing, the new Chanel hand cream “La Creme Main”(Bt2,300 for 50ml) hits the beauty counters today. Instead of a tube, its sleek oval shape design fits nicely the hand and is the most desirable of handbag accessories. The cream absorbs quickly, leaving skin with a velvety finish, Hands are deeply nourished, continuously moisturised, |delicately perfumed and prepped for a manicure.

Soft and soothing

Elemis Spa at The St Regis Bangkok tones and tightens the skin with a new treatment that combines salts, minerals and seaweed to work on hips, thighs, abdomen and back of arms.
