Marriott International continues its partnership with NBA for the third year by giving its loyalty programme members to access premium seats and events of the NBA China Games 2017 that will take place in Shenzhen and Shanghai on October 5 and 8.
Members of Marriott Rewards, Starwood Preffered Guest and The Ritz-Carlton Rewards programmes can use their points through Marriott Rewards Moments and SPG Moments to book tickets to these pre- season matches.
One of the two teams participating in this year’s NBA Global Games is the Golden State Warriors that returns to China the third time after the 2008 and 2013 pre-season matches. For the first time, Kevin Durant is playing as a part of the Warriors along with Stephen Curry, the unanimous winner of the 2016 MVP, three-time NBA All-Stars member Klay Thompson and two-time NBA All-Stars member Draymond Green.
This year, Timberwolves will bring two Rookies of the Year – Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins– along with Jimmy Butler, a three-time NBA All-Stars member. These emerging talents and superstars will be sure to excite the Chinese fans with show-stopping on-court action.

The tickets for public sale have long sold out but Marriott Rewards, SPG and Ritz-Carlton Rewards members can now bid the hottest tickets by redeeming their points—a privilege that is only for Marriott International’s loyal members.
The NBA Shenzhen Game will be held at the Shenzhen Universiade Centre on Thursday (October 5) starting at 1.30pm and the NBA Shanghai Game will take place at Mercedes-Benz Arena on Sunday (October 8) starting at 7pm. In Shanghai, a limited number of members will have an exclusive opportunity to engage with surprise NBA legends and stars at the Meet & Greet Reception.
