Fashion lovers turned out in their masses recently as Qurator threw a party to celebrate its second year, inviting 60 Thai designers to participate in the bash and partygoers – selected on the basis of spending Bt10,000 or more in the zone – to dress in the outfits of their favourite labels.
The Qurator Zone on the second floor of The EmQuartier Shopping Complex hosted the “Club Night”, which had as its theme “We Run This Town”
Among the brands selling their wares at Qurator are Asava, Greyhound Original, Issue, Kloset, Milin, Painkiller, Tutti & Tutti Fruitt , Vickteerut, ASV, Patinya, T and T, Poem, La Boutique, Thea by Thara, Flynow, Janesuda, Sretsis and Vatanika.
Ploypayap Srikarnchana, a fan of Thea by Thara, said she had come to support her favourite label. “I’m a fan of this brand because its character suits me well. I like a sweet and gentle style with a hint of the mysterious. For the party, I’ll mix one outstanding item, probably a top with sequins or a print pattern and wear it with trousers or a skirt.”
Kloset fan Piraya Singha had similar ideas. “Normally I like the Bohemian style. I like to wear a casual maxi dress with details like embroidery and printing. Kloset is a brand with a unique identity. When I wear a dress by Kloset, the brand is quickly recognisable. I will add more accessories for a party look.
Ploy Pinsaeng favours Munchu’s, saying “I like this brand because the outfit can make my personality be more outstanding. The fabric and cutting keep me confident. The design is feminine and modern, and I particularly like the Kimono top as I can easily match it with other pieces. For party, I will pair it with flared trousers and an oversized belt to look more fashionable.”
Loyal Vickteerut fan Sitamanin Susamawattanakul said she liked the brand’s minimal and sophisticated style. “The silhouette and cut suit me well and I usually wear a trouser suit or a simple dress. I’ll stick to my own style for the party but will add more accessories to reflect the lighting.
