Right in time for summer, Japanese apparel brand Uniqlo is launching its new collection dubbed AIRism. Known for seamless and breathable comfort, the women’s line employs ultra-fine fabric that is claimed to be gentle on the skin while men's pieces are lighter by an average of 10 grams than last year's predecessors through the adoption of a special fabric weave.

For women, the elimination of seams on hems, necklines, and cuffs items hides unwanted lines when wearing tight pants and skirts. The U-neckline is deeper to completely conceal innerwear and the sleeves stay hidden even under polo and other short-sleeved shirts.

The separates come in beige, concealing bra colours to offer women many more outerwear choices in warmer weather. Outstanding breathability enhances comfort on hot days and silk components used in cosmetics are also applied for a soft and comfortable texture.

Anti-odour features are also applied in the women’s and kids’ lines. This is particularly beneficial for children, who perspire much more than adults. The fabric is gentle on the delicate skins of women and kids.
