With the DeathAdder Chroma mouse from Razer in your hungry hand, triumph awaits

Razer’s DeathAdder Chroma mouse gives gamers high performance with customisable buttons for repeat tasks and macro actions to give them the advantage that might well ensure victory.
As part of the Chroma device series, the mouse comes with LED lights on the scroll wheel and the Razer logo. They display in synchronisation with the lights on other Chroma devices, including the Kraken 7.1 USB gaming headset and BlackWidow mechanical keyboard. The light set-up offers 16.8 million customisable colour options.
The DeathAdder has an ergonomic shape, fitting snugly in the palm for greater comfort. Rubber grips on the sides let you maintain control throughout extended sessions.
And it’s not just for gamers. Computer-graphics designers will appreciate the highly accurate optical sensor, powered with advanced tracking analytics.
The DeathAdder has a 10,000dpi optical sensor, capable of mouse-movement speeds of up to 200 inches per second and 50g acceleration. This means you can move it either fast or slow and it will always respond onscreen with exacting accuracy and the organic fluidity that’s possible only with an optical sensor.
Razer’s Synapse stats and heatmaps software tracks every click and movement and analyses your gameplay. You can download Synapse 2.0 to customise the mouse buttons and lights.
Every game is different and comes with its own set of control requirements, so Synapse allows for unlimited personal profiles, using the cloud for endless storable and configurations. This in turn enables longer, more complex macros. You must first register for a free account with the Razer cloud to access the Synapse store and pick up the mouse profiles.
Synapse lets you customise the right button, the scroll wheel’s middle click button and the two buttons on the left side.
Among other things, you can set each button to launch a different program, open a specific site online, control a selected function in multimedia play, decrease or increase the volume, switch profiles, launch window shortcuts, and carry out a set of macro actions.
I tested this out, setting the first left side button to launch The Nation’s website (www.NationMultimedia.com), and it worked perfectly, instantly launching my default browser to grab the homepage.
I set the second left side button to increase volume and it handled that fine too.
And the mouse operated smoothly throughout my test, the scrolling effortless.
The Razer DeathAdder Chroma has a suggested retail price of Bt1,990.
