Carcharias headphones aren't for wandering around - you sit there and focus on the game or the music

Razer Carcharias Gaming Headset for Xbox 360/PC is a circum-aural gaming headset with very good sound quality and comfortable design for long hours of use.
The full-sized headset uses full over-ear ear cups that can be comfortably fit over your ears. The pliable and soft ear cups are really comfortable to wear. And its padded head rail extends an extra 3.18cm on each side to accommodate various head sizes.
It comes with a microphone arm on the left side, which can be folded up when not used.
The Carcharias is not designed for portability because it is an active headset and needs to be powered from a USB port of your computer or Xbox 360 console. If you do not connect the USB cable to the PC or Xbox 360 USB port, you will hear nothing from the headphones.
And the headset has a 3-metre-long cable so you can stand or sit far from your TV when using the headset to play your Xbox 360 game.
I don’ t play games normally, so I tested the Carcharias for listening to music and was impressed in its sound quality, especially the powerful and very deep bass sounds.
Best of all, the headset provides an in-line remote control for adjusting various sound settings as well as your voice level when you are using the headset for video chat or for chatting with your online game pals.
The remote control provides a knob for turning up the volume of the music or game sounds and another volume knob for adjusting the level of your voice through the microphone. Another knob is provided for adjusting the level of the bass.
Since I love rock music, I turned the bass volume to nearly the full extent and enjoyed using the Carcharias for listening to rock albums, like AC/DC’s “Black Ice” album. The bass guitar rhythms sounded very powerful and very enjoyable. Other instrument sounds and vocals also sounded clear.
The headset was really comfortable to wear. Also, I wear my eyeglasses, and I didn’t feel the headphone’s pressure on my glasses during hours of music listening.
I tested it for making a Skype voice call and my conversation partner said my voice was loud and clear. I also heard her voice clearly.
Razer Carcharias Gaming Headset must be ordered from www.RazerZone.come for US$69.99.
