Wallet-friendly Paa boutique offers a range of attractive shoes along with bags and a few selected accessories
Fashion fans with a penchant for comfortable shoes, Pinnapas Siri-akaraseth and Bhrin Panichpapiboon opened their first shop at Suan Lum Night Bazaar soon after graduating from Chulalongkorn University. Business blossomed and in 2009, the pals felt sufficiently confident to launch their own brand, which they called Paa.
Offering a range of leather shoes and bags along with a small selection of casual separates for both men and women, they expanded the following year, moving to a boutique in Siam Square where they remain today. Shelves and cabinets groan under an impressive variety of attractive shoes and bags in the friendly and well-lit shop.
“Our products are mainly vintage-style, but the pastel shades and detailing give them a modern look. They’re ideal for any occasion. We focus on function and design to match the lifestyle of our customers,” Pinnapas says. “Most of our shoes and bags are two-tone, so customers will enjoy matching colours. Shoes range
in size from 35 to 41 for women and 35 to 45 for men.”
The boutique can be divided into two zones, with about 70 per cent of the items devoted to women and the remainder to men. Most of the shoes
and bags are made from genuine leather though some designs use synthetics. Colours vary from park green, neon, red poppy to sweet
rose, classic black and cookies and cream.
Paa offers two-tone boat shoes, oxford shoes, high-heeled shoes and ballet shoes. The totes range from canvas shoulder bags to genuine leather bags with handles in different shapes and shapes, cotton shirts, scarves, belts and pants. Prices start at Bt1,150.
Paa also has a branch at Chatuchak Weeknd Market, Section 3, Soi 2.
