Loewe captures the flamboyance of the Balearic Islands with its new Paula’s Ibiza collection, evolving creative director Jonathan Anderson’s graphic use of texture and print by mixing and matching retro beach motifs with the Plumetis, Flags, Mermaids, Circus, and Birds prints.

The end result is a whimsical mix of polka dots, beach flags, mermaids, circus characters, and cartoon hummingbirds in vivid, multi-coloured combinations. Multiple prints clash in single garments, as tiered sun dresses, caftans, peasant blouses and patchwork denim meet fringed shorts, cotton pyjama separates, and terry towel ponchos or hoodies. Bucket hats, beach towels, pareos and silk scarves allow for artful layering on the go.
