Cle de Peau Beaute introduces “Nuit de Chine”, describing it as the new chapter in the 2017 Holiday Collection.

A love story told in opulent colours, it is inspired by “China Through the Looking Glass”, an exhibition at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Cle de Peau Beaute’s creative makeup director Lucia Pieroni began exploring stories of forbidden passion, set over nights in the Orient. Her research led her to Washington State-based artist, Kathe Fraga and their collaboration incorporates the faded hues and motifs characteristic of Chinoiserie.

Influenced by her time in the US, South America and Europe, Fraga creates paintings that evoke the hand-painted, time-worn walls and murals of grand chateaux. Chinoiseries with a modern twist, her works resemble aged decorative panels and are adorned with birds, flowers and vines. Her art is collected and shown around the world.

The collection features the Essential Radiance set (Bt4,500) for every woman’s skincare routine, five Eye Colour pencils (Bt2,800) with a metallic shine, limited edition Nail Lacquer (Bt2,300) in three provocative hues and a Makeup Coffret (Bt5,800 with a compact, four jewel-like shadows, deep blush duo and a lipstick in iconic red.
