Lion Corp (Thailand) recently celebrated its 50th anniversary with an event called “From 50 to 100 Years with Sustainability & Happiness”, honouring its business partners across Asia.
President Boonyarith Mahamontri welcomed honoured attendees to the Lion Thailand factory in the Saha Industrial Park in Chon Buri.
On hand were Boonsithi Chokwatana, chairman of Saha Group and founder of Lion Thailand, Dr Itsuo Hama, chairman of Lion Corp (Japan), Sadayoshi Fujishige, chairman of the board at Lion (Japan) and former health minister Dr Mongkol Na Songkhla.
Boonsithi congratulated Lion Thailand on its success in business and looked forward to the journey towards its centennial.
He expressed his hope that Lion Thailand will thrive in a rapidly changing world thanks to lessons learned from past experiences, and continue growing as a leading manufacturer of consumer products.
He affirmed the firm’s core value of integrity. He said Lion (Thailand) had never wavered on its promises of friendship, partnership and strong business alliance, which enabled it to overcome crises in the past.
Team LCT50 – 50 staff members from different departments – put on a show of unity with the rap song “Destiny of Life”.
The event ended with the tour of the Humanised Hall in which Lion Thailand records its history and offers an opportunity to learn about its business-with-integrity concept.
With this core value, Lion Thailand marks its determination to “Build goodness in society and bring good health to consumer”.
