Logo contest launched

ThaiNamthip celebrates six decades of success by inviting young people to join its Logo Design Competition and win cash prizes valued at Bt200,000.

Participants can be high- school students, vocational students or undergraduates. Entries will be accepted from today through August 31 and the winners will be announced on September 19 via www.thainamthip.co.th.   

One of Thailand’s largest beverage manufacturers and distributors, ThaiNamthip has called on veteran advertiser-turned-independent artist Pitak Piyapong, Jay Spencer, a creative space developer and brand consultant, and Oh Futon, a one-of-a-kind artist with a portfolio of product design for a number of global brands to judge the entrries.

“As ThaiNamthip enters its auspicious 60th year, we would like to explore the potential and creative capability of young designers in Thailand in the areas of art and design as a way to give back to our valued consumers, especially the young generation who have been a major force in driving ThaiNamthip’s success,” said the company’s chairman Pornwut Sarasin.

“Since we are a Thai company that is growing in tandem with Thai society, we are inviting local youths to design ThaiNamthip’s 60th anniversary logo.” 

The 60th anniversary logo should project modernity and beauty channelling ThaiNamthip’s unique identity to portray the company’s solid foundation and progress. The entries must also reflect the company’s vision as a leader in Thailand’s beverage industry. 

Winners of the 60th anniversary logo design competition will receive cash prizes and certificates of recognition, with Bt100,000 going to the winner, Bt50,000 to the runner up and five consolation prizes of Bt10,000 each 

The winning entry will be used in the design of ThaiNamthip’s corporate logo throughout 2019.
