The Dance Me Up and Play Me Up by Me up Group, Chulalongkorn University Alumni Association and CentralWorld paid tribute to the late King Rama IX last month by staging the contemporary ballet “Still On My Mind” at the shopping centre’s Eden Zone.

Police General Adul Saengsingkaew, Minister for Social Development and Human Security, attended the opening along with other guests, among them Police General Surapol Tanakoses, Police Major General Warin Boonyakiate, General Mongkol Paopongklai, Puttipat Lertchaowasit, Napatsasi Benjakul, Arinmas Boonkrongsapya, Thanapol Thongchua and his family, and Potchanart Seebungkerd.

The ballet featured His Majesty’s compositions including “Nai Luang Nai Duang Jai” (“My King”), “Saeng Tien” (“Candle Light”), “Klai Roong” (“Near Dawn”), and “Kwam Fun Un Songsood” (“The highest dream”).

Khemisa “Khru Gibb” Boonyakiate, an executive with Dance Me Up, turned her sorrow into positive energy, saying, “I was delighted that the students gave such a great performance.”
