Onyx Bangkok in Bang Kapi, which recently made it into DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs poll – joins forces with Retox Sessions and Grey Goose to bring up-and-coming DJ and producer Florian Picasso from Cannes in France to Bangkok for his Thailand debut this Friday (July 28).

The great-grandson of artist Pablo Picasso, he gained recognition for collaborations with Martin Garrix and Steve Aoki and in 2016, he was ranked by DJ Mag at 38th on their annual list of Top 100 DJs. He was born in Vietnam and adopted by Marina Picasso, a granddaughter of the famous artist, Pablo Picasso and was reportedly delighted when Kanye West named his album, “The Life of Pablo” after his great-grandfather. He started making music at the age of 13, when he would perform at events in his boarding school. He became more serious about his musical career at the age of 19. He currently resides in Geneva, Switzerland.

Picasso has performed at major music festivals such as Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland. He has been performing in big clubs since he was 16 years old, has opened for acts like Swedish House Mafia and now headlines his own shows. In 2015, he released "Can't Stop" as a single with fellow producer Tom Tyger via Mixmash Records.

In 2016, he released "Final Call" through Armada Music under exclusive license from Protocol Recordings, a label run by Nicky Romero. The song peaked on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart at 39. An official music video directed by Fauns / Clubbing Vision was published by Protocol Recordings. Picasso has also signed a deal with Spinnin' Records, with whom he released a single titled "Cracked Wall".

Picasso is best known for his remixes for Steve Aoki, Nervo and Oliver Heldens, as well as his collaborations with Martin Garrix ("Make Up Your Mind") and Laidback Luke ("With Me"), and his original tracks "Final Call” and "The Shape".
