Total Access Communication PLC (Dtac), the provider of the Happy Tourist SIM, has joined hands with the Central Group to launch a special campaign for customers using the service.

Dtac along with the Central E-Tourist Card offers a 10 per cent discount and Bt100 E-Cash Coupon for shopping at Central stores and ZEN and Central branches of Supersports, B2S, and Mark and Spencer.

Happy Tourist SIM customers can present E-Tourist Card and E-Coupons with a passport throughout 2019.

According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the number of tourists visiting Thailand in 2018 was over 38 million, an increase of 3 million or 8 per cent growth over the previous year.

Chinese tourists are still number one in Thailand, accounting for 28 per cent of all inbound tourists to Thailand and contributing over Bt500 billion of the country’s total tourism revenue of Bt2 trillion. Sukannee Lertsukwibul, Dtac’s marketing boss, said: “Dtac welcomes tourists and, to celebrate summer holidays, we are offering a special promotion and privilege for all Dtac Happy Tourist SIM customers to thank them for continued support, making Happy Tourist SIM the most popular SIM for tourists. Dtac will never stop developing and delivering new services and special offers to customers.”
