Task force aims to develop Big Data system
The Ministry of Digital Economy and Society has appointed a special task force to study ways to develop the Big Data system to serve state agencies, said minister Pichet Durongkaveroj.
The task force will be made up of representatives from related state agencies, such as the National Digital Economy and Society Committee, the Finance Ministry, the Budget Bureau, the Council of State, the Bank of Thailand, and the National Electronics and Computer Technology Centre. The task force will be chaired by the National Digital Economy and Society Committee’s secretary general.
The move is aimed at integrating all data of all state agencies. The integrated data will enable the government to utilise the data in ways that can make accurate forecast. This will help state agencies provide better public benefit to the general public.
