Police said the victim, whose identity has not yet been determined, was struck at 9pm while crossing Soi Wat Boon Kanchanaram off Jomtien 2 Road in Chon Buri’s Bang Lamung district.
Bus driver Thanapol Liwiset, 62, waited for police at the scene and explained he was about to drop off his passengers at a hotel on the same soi when the man suddenly appeared in front of him at a curve.
