A fire broke out at the office building of an auto electronic parts manufacturer in Lamphun on Saturday morning, injuring two people, police said.
Police said the fire broke out on the first floor of the Schaffner EMC building in the Lamphun Industrial Estate in Tambon Ban Klang in Muang district at 8am.
The blaze spread to the second floor of the two-storey building before firefighters put it out at about 10.30 am.
Police said there were no workers inside the building because it was a holiday but an accountant who came to fetch some documents was slightly injured. A rescue worker was injured when the pressure inside the building broke the glass windows and he was hit by some shards.
Police have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
