Hoping to garner a share of the end-of-year mass shopping spree, and reinforce its status as “the” destination for electric appliances and IT products, The Mall Group’s Power Mall is holding Power Mall Electronica 2018.
The sale, projected to increase sales revenue by 7 per cent, will be held from December 21, 2017 to January 3, 2018 at four locations of “The Mall”: Bangkapi, Ngamwongwan, Bangkae and Thapra.
The Mall Group will partner with Thai Life Insurance and Isuzu for the event.

“There has been consistent growth during the last two months of the year, mostly due to the government’s shopping tax break which resulted in a 30 per cent growth in the market,” said the senior vice president and chief merchandising officer of Power Mall.
“The tax break boosted consumer spending in electrical appliances, a market which continues to see growth as consumer spending remains high. Many brands redeveloped their strategies during the last two weeks of the year to support increased consumer spending by offering special promotions to entice consumers. Thus, consumer spending on electrical appliances is at its apex during this period of the year.”
Electronica 2018 is expecting to see another sales jump at its four locations across the city. Shoppers will find electrical appliances, IT products, smartphones and sound systems from more than 200 brands on a total space of 20,000 square metres, as well as special promotions and offers.
