Police and troops raided a poolside resort house in Hua Hin early on Wednesday and rounded up nine Army conscripts and 14 teenagers who tested positive to drugs.
Somporn Patchimphet, assistant Prachuap Khiri Khan governor, led police and troops from the Thanarat Fort to raid the Happiness Hua Hin resort house after receiving a tip-off that some teenagers were holding a drug party.
The authorities also found women aged between 20 and 25, and many Army conscripts drinking and dancing beside the pool.
They women said they came from Bangkok and they were holding a party for their 16 Army friends, who are about to be discharged.
The authorities said 14 teenagers and nine Army conscripts tested positive to drug use.
