Fire breaks out at Pattaya discotheque early Thursday

A fire broke out at a popular discotheque on Pattaya walking street early Thursday, sending over 100 Thai and foreign patrons to run for their life.

There were no reported casualties in the fire at The Natcha Club, which broke out at 3:30 am, according to Pattaya police.

The fire broke out on the second floor, which is the office of the club, staffs managed to put it out before fire fighters arrived.

A tourist told police that the patrons were drinking and danging to DJ music when a staff ran to them and announced that there was a fire, prompting all patrons to run outside.
