Former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has branded the charter draft as “shoddy”, which would lead the country to become backward like Myanmar and ์North Korea.

He told the Pheu Thai Party members to be ready for a general election as he believed it is coming soon.
Thaksin on Sunday made a video call to a group of former Pheu Thai MPs who joined the Chinese New Year celebration organised by Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan at her residence at Lad Pla Kao area.
Thakin said during the event that the Pheu Thai in Bangkok has a team leader who is a competent lady.
“The charter draft is shoddy, giving too much power to the Constitutional Court. This will lead the country to be backward like Myanmar and North Korea. I have left home ten years but our country has stepped back 20 years. The country leader is now intoxicated with power, immature, having no sense but indecent manners. Get ready for a general election to be held soon,’’ he said.
The fugitive ex-PM said the Pheu Thai Party has a high possibility to return to power.
