Hanover, Germany (dpa) - A mini PC is usually more than enough computer for people who only require the basics, such as internet access, word processing and the ability to view and edit photos and videos.

These minis also tend to be cheaper than big desktop computers or notebooks, reports German computer magazine c't after a recent product test, with decent models starting at about 200 euros (235dollars).
However, if you're big into gaming, a mini probably isn't right for you, even though they have gotten more powerful and now tend to come with 4K screens.
The problem is that their processors and graphics cards - to say nothing of their ability to crunch more complicated programmes -remains limited.
