EC dismisses vote-buying complaints against five MPs, one failed candidate

The Election Commission has dismissed vote-buying complaints against five MPs and a failed candiate, EC deputy secretary-general Somchart Jesrichai said Monday.



Somchart said the EC decided to dismissed the complaints against Witthayen Muttarmara, a failed candidate of the Democrat in Bangkok’s Constituency 14.

The EC also dismissed vote-buying complaints against five MPs: Surapong Piyachote (Pheu Thai-Kanchanaburi), Pracha Phopipit (Democrat-Kanchanaburi), Pithak Charusombat (Democrat-Chachoengsao), Horchalee Malem (Democrat-Satun), and Chompu Chanthathong (Pheu Thai-Nong Khai).
