The Electronic Government Agency (EGA) has announced the results of its Mobile Enterprise DGovernment 2017 awards, designed for student teams, startups and entrepreneurs who develop innovation technology, mobile applications and platforms to support digital government or egovernment services.

A total of 367 teams and 256 projects applied for entry in the awards, known as the Mega awards.

The winners in the entrepreneurs’ category were the developers of the ZeekDoc mobile application and website, which allow users to search for nearby doctors and medical specialists.

The site and app also allow patients to make medical appointments online, and to choose a qualified doctor from various hospitals.
